Can you believe that July is HERE?! Summer is in full-swing and I wanted to let you know that I’ve got a brand new support + accountability community starting. In the Sweat Sanity Challenge, we’ll be focused on creating a brand new habit for the month, sharing our usual delicious recipes that won’t derail your goals, keeping each other on track with our workouts, and of course you know we keep faith at the center of our fitness, so we’ve got a power verse to help keep you focused on your goal all month long, plus Monday morning devotionals to nourish your soul!

This month, I want you to make the decision to make a NEW HABIT! Just one (because if you try to make 17 drastic changes to your life… it’s probably not going to happen). What is one thing that you would LOVE to implement?Is it drinking your daily water intake? Is it not pressing snooze during the week? Is it putting your cell phone down an hour before bed every day?   This is YOUR new habit – so make it personal to you.

Once you’re signed up and in the group, you’ll gain access to your Sweat Sanity Habit Tracker  and write down the habit you WILL implement this month and also consider WHY you want to make this change.  Write out your BECAUSE, your why, your reason for adopting your new habit.  Together we will track your progress in Making your Change 😉

Strawberry Mint Popsicles

Most popsicles are made primarily of sugar, sugar, and then a little bit more sugar for good measure… but not these! These are the perfect poolside treat … they actually taste GOOD and they’re good for you. What could be better?! 

Strawberry Mint Popsicles

For the smoothest strawberry popsicles, you’ll want to blend all the ingredients on high speed until liquified. But if you do want a bit of texture, reserve some of the strawberries, adding them only at the end. Pulse the blender a few times to roughly chop them, before pouring the mixture into molds. 

 

INGREDIENTS

  • ¾ cup water
  • ½ cup fresh (or frozen) strawberries
  • 2 scoops Strawberry Shakeology (whey or vegan)
  • 2 tbsp fresh lime juice
  • 2 tbsp fresh mint, chopped

 

INSTRUCTIONS

Place all ingredients in blender and blend until smooth. Divide evenly into four popsicle molds; freeze for at least 4 hours or until set.   Don’t have Shakeology? Grab yours here!

In case we’ve never talked about it – I wanted to share this post with you about WHY I feel lead to faith for fitness.  It all started with a lie from the enemy .  You can see the original post here 

When people told me …

You’re wide-hipped.
You’re thick-thighed.
Your butt is big.

Your voice is annoying.
You repeat yourself.
You talk too much.
You’re too loud.
You’re unapproachable.
You’re unrelatable.

You’re okay looking, but not beautiful.
Your forehead is too big.
Your teeth are too big.
Your hair is too big.

You’re too detailed.
You’re too literal.
You’re too intense.

You’re too modest.
You’re too preachy.
You’re too uptight.

You’re too poor.
You don’t have enough.
You’re not good enough.

And then God puts me on a fitness & coaching platform… a microphone on my head and a social media page and blog in my heart …AND HE SAID …

Wear the purple pants anyway. Be loud. Be intense. Be unapologetically you.
