Self Discipline & 80 Day Obsession Cardio Flow

SELF DISCIPLINE

ok, let’s consider it…
.
.
Just because I get fired up aboit teaching Fitness DOES NOT mean I get all coo coo for my own workout cocoa puffs… ya hear me?
I DO still struggle to get MOTIVATED to workout
BUT ALSO I’ve just learned how to flex my self discipline muscle… and it ain’t whatcha think!
.
.
Through FAILING AND GETTING IT WRONG AND CHOOSING THE COUCH over PUSHUPS a BUNCH of times!
.
Through the POWER of God’s Word posted all over my mirror and fridge and car and phone and wallet ….and laptop (yep) to remind me of Whose I am and WHO I am choosing to do this for when I don’t feel like it!! 😮
.
Through making FRIENDS in fitness who ALSO have goals for themselves and talk me off the brownie batter cliff of stress eating or feeling pressured to just give up and give in.

Through a virtual fit club… and online place to show up everyday and say, I DID MY WORKOUT TODAY! I’m staying consistent in my program!
.
I dont wake up thrilled about lifting weights or doing gorillas…. LOL who does??!!

But I’ve trained myself to be disciplined and do my workout NO MATTER WHAT. (Like when I wake up at 5 AM every weekday even during spring break and do my workout before the kids wake and the day’s demands begin). It’s now a non-negotiable habit. I press play and start moving it the joy kicks in and I remember WHY I’m doing it.

But there are a few things that DO get me EXCITED for my workouts:

1. OPTIONS. I love having options with the power to choose my workouts because it’s new every time and it can for my mood… I never want to get bored. Thankfully- this workout program gives me a totally DIFFERENT workout EVERY day… and it is an 80 day program! Every day I look forward to pressing play and being surprised 🙌🏼

2. JESUS TANK TOPS ! I am kinda addicted to tanks with positive messages – especially scripture or what I call #truthtanks ! I have a a handful of faves and try not to wear them every day LOL!! My fave shop is crosstrainingcouture what’s yours?!! 👟👚

3. DEVO TIME AFTER! I love catching my breath after a stretch and reading, praying, digging into God’s Word after a great sweat! By then my senses are all alive and active and more alert… open and ready to hear His voice and direction for the day with a willing heart 💗

If you just look in the mirror and SAY to yourself, GOD HAS GIVEN ME A SPIRIT OF LOVE , POWER, AND SELF DISCIPLINE. I AM DISCIPLINING MY BODY TO GET STRONG. I AM DISCIPLINING MY TASTEBUDS TO CRAVE HEALTH.
.
WE can teach ourselves to make it a non negotiable.

Have you ever scheduled a workout block on your calendar for your daily workout?? …or is it now just a normal part of your every day?

Btw… if you want a not boring twist to your cardio, and you want a sculpted lower body with it …. Then try these first few moves (in my video above) 4 times each, then start front the beginning again!
