These last few weeks of Fall are our gentle prelude to winter months, when I’m somewhere between pumpkin spice and maple & brown sugar delightful temptations.

What are the seasonal scents & activities you enjoy this time of year?

For me, I imagine the scent of Peppermint Hot Cocoa, Pecan Pies, Sweet Potato Casserole, & Forgotten Cookies with my kids. I think about the neighborhood ladies’ christmas sock exchange, my husband’s work party, and all the treats & holiday crafts the kids bring home from school before Winter break. And of course I think of my December birthday! Lol (often looked over bc we are all so busy this time of year)๐ŸŽ„๐ŸŽ

What do you not really look forward to? all the gifts to buy and the house to-do before guests arrive? The holiday “food baby” weight gain? ๐Ÿญ๐Ÿซ๐Ÿฐ Up until a few years ago, I had no plan for keeping the “holiday 10” at bay… you know what I’m talking about! Those extra 8-10lbs that so easily creep on because eating for energy and healthy gut goes out the window or it’s just so easy to nibble on all the readily available treats!! ๐Ÿฌ๐Ÿช

I would tell myself there’s too much going on to workout or eating healthy was impossible during the entire months of November through January! Can you imagine?! ๐Ÿ•๐ŸŸ

Then it would be New Year๐Ÿ™ and I would be so reluctant to regain control ove my emotional eating binges or ongoing love affair with chocolate kisses, until my pants were too tight to button without an extra bulge when I sat down or the button feeling like it would pop off.๐Ÿ˜จ๐Ÿ‘–๐Ÿ‘š

Since then, I have created my own Christmas Countdown 4 Step Plan & chosen go-to workouts “fit” for Christmas hustle season! It is a simple simple process I follow to keep myself from gaining the “Holiday 10″๐Ÿ›๐Ÿ‘‘ and can still enjoy the treats I want most but maintain my goal weight, maximize my time for holiday activities, fully be present in the parties, and also stay accountable to my health and fitness through my online group. โ €
