Make Your Own Taco Seasoning

Who doesn’t love every chance they can get to eat some good Tacos?! And the smell of ground cumin alone makes me hungry!!

My family pretty consistently has a taco night at least once every 2 weeks even if it’s not on a Tuesday – and last night my hubby totally got daggers from me for not bringing home some Taco Bueno (some of the best)!

ANyway — when we make it ourselves, it’s that much more fun and rewarding to chow down.

Ditch the seasoning packets (they’re usually high in sodium and contain artificial flavors) with this super-easy spice blend. You can even add in additional spices, like cayenne for some heat!

Ingredients

  • 2 tbsp chili powder
  • 1 tbsp ground cumin
  • 2 tsp ground black pepper
  • 2 tsp sea salt
  • 1 tsp onion powder
  • ½ tsp garlic powder
  • ½ tsp dried oregano

Instructions

Combine chili powder, cumin, pepper, salt, onion powder, garlic powder, and oregano in a small bowl; mix well! Use in all your favorite taco recipes!

Try it out and tell me how you like it!
