1️⃣ Strength Starts in the Mind
“I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me.” – Philippians 4:13
Our mindset is the foundation of everything. When it comes to fitness, showing up consistently is just as important as the workouts themselves. We all have days where we doubt ourselves, feel unmotivated, or let perfectionism get in the way—but faith reminds us that progress is built one step at a time.
Mindset Challenge: Speak to Your Strength
Start each morning with this affirmation:
💬 “I am strong, capable, and fueled by my faith in God, Who equips me, strengthens me, and guides me. I am never alone in my fitness journey. Wherever I go, He is there with me. He has a planned future for me, He desires for me to prosper, He wants me to be in good health, and He orders my steps.”
By speaking life over ourselves, we are setting the tone for success. Try it, and let me know how it impacts your mindset this week!

Fuel for Living Life Fit
2️⃣ Fuel Your Body with Protein & Electrolytes
You can’t build strength on an empty tank! What you put into your body fuels your workouts, energy levels, and recovery. If you’ve been feeling sluggish, take a look at these two key areas:
💧 Hydration: Are you drinking enough water? A good rule of thumb is half your body weight in ounces per day. Dehydration leads to fatigue, cravings, and poor recovery—so start your morning with at least 8 oz before coffee, and consider adding electrolytes to your water bottle during your workouts!
🥤 Protein: Your body needs protein to build lean muscle, burn fat, and keep you full. If you struggle to get enough, a simple Life Shake in the morning or post-workout can help!

A strong core isn’t just for aesthetics—it’s the foundation of every movement you do. Whether you’re lifting weights, running, or even just carrying groceries, your core muscles provide stability, balance, and injury prevention.
Try this Core Finisher after your next workout:
✅ 30 sec Elbow Plank
✅ 20 Bicycle Crunches
✅ 10 Side Lying Leg Lifts (each side)
✅ Repeat 2-3x

4️⃣ Habit Stacking to Make Fitness a Lifestyle
The secret to long-term success? Habit stacking. Instead of overhauling your entire routine, pair new habits with things you already do.
✔️ Example: While brewing coffee, drink 16-32oz of water first.
✔️ Example: While brushing your teeth, do 10 bodyweight squats with calf raises.
✔️ Example: While waiting in the carpool line, take 5 deep breaths to destress.

Teaching from a Strong Service Mindset
Hey, fit pros! 💪 One of the biggest game-changers in group fitness is shifting your mindset from “I have to perform” to “I get to serve.” Stay tuned to my Instagram this week for more on how I do this in my classes and how it can promote more confidence in your teaching.
💡 This Week’s Tip: connection over perfection.
Your participants don’t care if you miss a beat or forget a cue—they care about how you make them feel. Smile, make eye contact, and speak to the person who needs encouragement the most.
🎯 Try this: Instead of just calling out moves, make eye contact and add a motivational cue that connects to them as a person pursuing their goals on a daily fitness journey:
✅ “Stay strong—your body is adapting right now and you’re breaking limitations!”
✅ “You walked in today for a reason. Let’s finish strong with purpose and precision!”
✅ “Your future self will thank you for staying strong through this hard!”
