This weekend during the Tony Robbins event we had some CRAZY scheduling and activities, to say the least. From Thursday to Monday, we were operating on oftentimes 3 -4 hours of sleep, and the only way we were powering through was sheer will power and delight over everything we were enthusiastically receiving during the event.
Eating, we knew, was going to be a challenge! So, we each made a meal plan to follow so we could stick to our goals. Working out every day was not gonna be achievable… so oir nutrition needed to stay on point. So! We planned ahead! Protein, healthy fats, lots of veggies and a little fruit… and THESE GUYS!! Chocolate Energy Bites!!
Much to my pleasure!! Hubby and the youngest A got together on day one of UPW to roll these yummy treats together for mommy… and I was so grateful!!
They ABSOLUTELY SAVED me when I felt I was dragging or needed a sweet snack 😉 just to grab outta my bag and munch while Tony talked! And dude… the man can talk!
So, hubby chose Shakeology to make these for me – and this is how it contributes to my energy!
Protein and antioxidant, phytonutrient and vitamin and minerals, digestive enzymes and probiotics packed… Shakeology is a whole foods blend of superfoods meant to FUEL the body with real food that it CRAVES while helping to improve and stabilize blood sugar levels, lower cholesterol, and help the body adapt to stress. Then we got a little bit of oats and nuts for carbs and healthy fats! You could easily substitute almond flour instead of oat flour or almonds instead of walnuts… use what you have on hand! Experiment! So yummy… Oooh I wonder if some cayenne would be a sweet and spicy treat? Hmmmm…
Want the recipe for all the goodness?? Here ya go!
