Lemonade Popsicles & Summer Wellness

A new month is just about here and I am so excited to invite you to join The Summer Wellness Club! In our June support and accountability community, you’ll find wellness tips for staying healthy in body and mind throughout the summer, some tasty (and healthy) summer treats, insights into some of the best seasonal ingredients and more.

This is not about restricting yourself to only eating boring salads all summer long. We believe in popsicles, pool time, and making the most of these warm months and we’d never ask you to sacrifice your happiness for a smaller number on a scale. But if you’re struggling with your nutrition or ready to incorporate more movement into your life, this is perfect place for you!
I’d love to give you the details on how to join us if you’d like! Just cruise over to your inbox, and I can send over the info if you email me coachangelb@gmail.com.

So… tell me?

What is more refreshing than lemonade on a hot summer day?! (Answer: nothing)

Tart Lemonade Popsicles

This easy recipe for lemonade popsicles uses just 3 ingredients: water, fresh lemons, and honey! If you wanted to boost the flavor profile for a night of summer entertaining, add ¼ cup fresh herbs or seasonings wrapped tightly in cheesecloth to the water and honey mixture. Boil for 5 minutes; allow to steep for 1-2 hours. Then, strain! You can play around with the flavor combinations and explore a little – ginger, rosemary, thyme, basil… be adventurous!

Whether you go with the simple version or an elevated herbal flavor, these pops are sure to delight!

  • 1½ cups water, divided use
  • 3 Tbsp. raw honey
  • ½ cup fresh lemon juice

  1. Heat ½ cup water and honey in small saucepan over medium-high heat; cook, stirring frequently, for 5 minutes or until well blended. Cool to room temperature.
  2. Combine honey mixture and lemon juice in a bowl or pitcher. Gradually add remaining water to desired taste.
  3. Pour evenly into four ice pop molds; freeze for at least four hours, or until set.

Summer is short and we want to take full advantage of it. Most of us are skilled at creating summer bucket lists as long as our arm… but then, too often, we head into fall feeling frazzled or unrested.

What if we first get super clear on HOW we want to FEEL this summer and then identify the specific goals or intentions that will best support us in feeling this way?! You with me?

This summer

I challenge you to answer this question, so that you can design a summer that leaves you feel all the joy and none of the stress!

I hope to have you join us in The Summer Wellness Club; feel free to message me if you have any questions or want more info! Have an amazing June!

Before you go….

I thought I’d share my very first 2 month results with my programs. Legit. Not even following a meal plan. Just drinking my shake and pressing play every day the workout calendar told me to. This pic below is one of those moments the shift I’ve been talking to you about blew me away. I asked my husband to take some progress photos for me. I was like “when did that happen?” I wasnt expecting my back fat to just melt away like that. I was just focused on getting stronger so the pain in my body from the car wreck & fall the year before would stop.

I was still a rebel with my eating LOL…I didn’t follow any “rules”. I just added in 1 shake a day after I worked out each morning. I just followed the instructions inside my little program guide. Whatever workout it said to do that day, I did. Sometimes alone. Sometimes with friends. Sometimes with hubby. Sometimes with kids.
That’s it. I pressed play. I drank my shake.
In other words… I kept it simple.

God has done so much in my life since I made to decision to choose wellness.

Let’s make YOUR first simple shift show up and surprise the heck out of you like mine did. PM me ♡! Let’s do this thing!!
